WHAT ARE THE MAINTENANCE METHODS OF GAS HOT WATER BOILERS

A hot water boiler is a thermal energy conversion equipment that provides hot water. It transfers the heat released by burning fuel to the water in the pot, which raises the temperature of the water in the pot for heating or domestic use. Hot water boiler inlet and outlet flow are water, most of them are forced circulation through the pressure of the pump, but also some in the boiler body by the water temperature caused by the severe difference in natural circulation. Because there is water in the boiler, we all understand that water is easy to make metal corrosion and rust, and if the water quality is not good, it will also form scale in the boiler or pipeline. This is easy to cause a variety of problems in the boiler, so we use the boiler before, during and after the planned maintenance and maintenance of the boiler.

Wet maintenance is generally applicable to the maintenance of boilers whose shutdown time does not exceed one month.

(1) After the boiler is stopped, the boiler water should be drained according to the specified time, and the scale, slag and soot should be removed.

(2) Close all manholes, handholes, valves, etc., and isolate them from running boilers.

(3) Prepare alkaline protection solution with qualified demineralized water, add sodium hydroxide Na(OH) 8 kg~10kg, or add sodium carbonate (NaC03) 20kg, or add sodium phosphate (Na2P03) 20kg per ton of furnace water.

(4) Use a special pump to inject the prepared alkaline maintenance solution into the boiler.

(5) After all the protection solution is injected, open the water supply valve and fill the boiler with qualified demineralized water until the water overflows from the air valve, then close the air valve and water supply valve, and turn on the special pump to circulate the solution evenly.

(6) During the whole maintenance period, you should regularly use a low-fire oven to keep the outside of the heating surface dry, and regularly turn on the pump cycle to make the concentration of the solution consistent everywhere. You should also regularly take the solution for testing and supplement the liquid to keep the pH value of the solution at 10. ~12 to ensure the alkalinity of the furnace water.

(7) Corresponding antifreeze measures should be taken in winter.
