On the water bath sterilizer sterilization process

Water bath sterilizer is used to heat to the process temperature of hot water or steam, by pressurizing to process time for sterilization treatment of various materials. All sterilization systems have some characteristics in common: they need to be pressurized, transfer temperature, and create a closed environment for sterilization. The sterilization medium (also called heating medium, sterilization medium, etc.) is an indispensable tool to transfer heat to the product.

Water bath sterilization process:

(1) Put the packed product into the basket of the sterilization kettle, and the kettle door is closed.
Then the kettle door is secured by a triple safety interlock. In the whole sterilization process, mechanical, electrical and other ways to chain, to ensure the safe operation of the sterilizer.

(2) Preheating: Add water to the tank to set water level, enter steam, and preheat to the required temperature.

(3) Water: pour water into the tank.

(4) Sterilization: the circulating pump will continue to circulate the sterilization water in the closed circuit system, the water is completely immersed in the sterilization, with the steam into the sterilizer, the temperature of the circulating water is rising, and finally control in the required temperature.
The pressure in the tank is adjusted within the ideal range by pressure and relief valves.

(5) Recycling: the circulating pump will be pumped back to the top tank for the next batch of food sterilization.

(6) Cooling: the kettle began to enter the cold water, the temperature of the sterilization is constantly reduced, and has been reduced to the set temperature.

(7) Drainage: cooling water is discharged through the drainage valve, and the pressure in the kettle is discharged through the exhaust valve.

(8) After the completion of cooling, the pressure in the kettle through the exhaust valve discharge, air inlet valve open, the pressure in the pot is zero, discharge the product.
